So here it is (finally) my one last Christmas gift post. I could go on about the gifts my kids got this year- because I think we did a really good job. They were well thought out and we planned ahead (what? I actually planned ahead? Yes, my friends- its true.) BUT I will finally wrap up Christmas, just shy of a month later, with this AWESOME pop-up book that I, oops! I mean Santa, found at Costco one day.
Its called the DC Superheros: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book. You can get it on Amazon for about what it cost me at Costco. Why is this book SO cool? Not only is it FULL of superheros and their stories- it really is the ULTIMATE pop-up book. The pop-ups are HUGE and very detailed. Each page has 2 mini pop-up pages on it, and The Batman page even has a light up Bat Signal. Awesome, right?
The best part- Gavin LOVES IT. The last page has the biggest pop-up element I have ever seen in a book and is ALL of DC Comics heroes and villains duking it out. Each character has a tiny number and there is a key at the bottom that tells you the name of that hero or villain.
Gavin will spend hours on the floor checking out all the pages and the characters. He loves hearing how certain characters came about and what kind of special powers and vehicles they have.
Have a super hero lover in your house? Seriously, check into this book!
