A project, an announcement, and a GIVE AWAY!

Hello Friends!! I have a project to share with you that I have been working on for the last 10 days or so. This special project is for a Design Team try out for Sakura Hobby. I made it to the final round- and today is the day! If selected, I will be posting on the Sakura Blog frequently with new projects for you all. Today the team leader is visiting all of the finalists blogs and preparing to make her decision on the team members. (Hi Terri!) I'm a little nervous, and very excited, to show you my new creations!

I had a lot of fun making these picture frames. They are a little out of the box for me, so it was a bit of a learning experience... The base for both of these is a 4x6 picture frame that I got at Target on clearance some time ago. I used Mod-Podge to adhere scrapbook paper to the frame. It wraps all the way around to the back of the frame. The beach frame has real  beach sand along the bottom half of the frame, I used Mod-Podge to adhere that also. The Snow Day frame has flock Mod-Podged on the bottom half and on the "hills", so its fuzzy and soft (and impossible to photograph well. I'm so sorry!). The paper shapes on each are cut with my cricut. I attached some flat to the frames and others I popped with pop-dots to give some dimension.

Now for the give-away! If you like my little frame project, leave me a comment here on this post and let me know which one you like best! Ill leave it open for  one week then Ill pick a winner for each! *Disclaimer- the photo of the cute kid on Christmas day is not included in the give away. It was just used for picture taking purposes. ;)
