Phew! I thought life had been busy lately, but Thursday and Friday showed me how much more crazy it could get! We left Thursday afternoon for an over night trip down south to the L.A. area. We were going down for a friend of the family's graduation. I also recently convinced the hubby that we needed to stop in Ikea while we were down there. (I *really* wanted to get THESE curtains [Thanks a bunch, Stephanie] for the boys room.) Over all the trip was loads of fun. But it was SO fast, and SO hectic, and SO lacking in the sleep department.
We didn't get to L.A. till 8ish on Thursday night, thanks to the freeway traffic. (I am however, still grateful that we didnt have to touch the 405 on the way down.). Once we got there, we hit Hooters for a quick, FATTENING, dinner. I know, I know, Hooters isnt exactly a classy establishment, but I have a thing for the buffalo shrimp. So since we don't have Hooters anywhere nearby my house, anytime we go out of town- I try and get there for some. The boys had never been there before and Gavin informed me that the grilled cheese he had was better than any grilled cheese his dad or I have ever made for him. :p
We spent the night at a different friends house, and were up most of the night talking since we don't get to see her very much. After a brief sleep, we were up and at 'em to get ready for the graduation. I would show you some of the 75 pictures I took during the ceremony but I can't. I CAN however show you the pictures of what the boys were doing...

Who knew the braclets I was wearing would be such good entertainment? Clearly I need to wear jewelry more often. :)
