hello hello! I Hope your Memorial day weekend is fabulous. Full of lots of remembering fallen heros, thanking the ones still with us, and some damn good American BBQ to celebrate it all!
Lets see- where do I start with this totally random post? Um- at the beginning, I suppose. My wee kid was kind enough, on his week before last of school, to bring home some illness to share with the rest of us. So now I have a cough, sore throat, snotty nose- the whole 9. Great. As if it isnt bad enough to be sick- I had a wedding to shoot yesterday. I was the second shooter again for the fabulous Serendipity Pixx. It was our second wedding of the season and despite me feeling like crap- we had an incredibly successful day! Thats a whole other post in itself- so Ill be sure to share some GORGEOUS photos later this week!
Now- my new favorite internet time suck- Pinterest. Have you seen it? OMG. Totally awesome, and TOTALLY addicting. Its an online idea/pin board to keep alllllllll those awesome online projects you love, photos that inspire you, and recipes you want to recreate in one place. Like when those awesome girls at eighteen-25 post the new subway art for summer time, and you want to have it printed- but not right this second- just pin it. Or when there is super cute dragon tail tutorial on HowDoesShe, that you just HAVE to make for your kids at some point this summer- just pin it. FABULOUS new summer dress on the Nordstrom's online that you dont want to forget about- Pin it! See where Im going with this? In your account, you can have multiple pin boards to keep your ideas somewhat organized. For instance- I have one for home stuff, kid stuff, photos, paper crafts, kid crafts, fashion I like, etc, etc. You also get to see everyone else's pins. you can follow people- like on facebook or twitter- and get a "feed" of their pins, or you can go to the "everything" page- and see the stuff everyone else is pinning right now. Want to get in on this action? Its invite only- so let me know if you need one! Leave me a message with your email, and Ill send you one ASAP. I can do 5 at a time, so if you dont get one right away dont be discouraged. I wont forget! It might just take a day or 2, if I have more than 5 requests.
