Hello! Hello! Hello, my bloggy friends :) Where I have I been, you ask? Well... I could totally lay some sob story on your right now about how BUSY i have been and how CRAZY my life is right now, and those things are in fact true, BUT- the real story is, im just a tiny bit lazy, and I like to sleep at night. ;) But here I am now! And I have a plethora of posts planned for you people! (HA!)
So lets start with a wee wedding post... The day before Easter was the first wedding of the season for a wonderful photographer friend of mine. Our hubby's happen to work together, and when we met we became friends pretty quickly. She has fed my photography love for the last couple years now, and calls on me to second shoot for her at weddings. This is our second wedding season together, and we are off to a fabulous start!! The wedding we shot recently involved an absolutely GORGEOUS bride (seriously. it was IMPOSSIBLE to take a bad shot of her.) and a day full of meaning to her and her wonderful new husband.

The paint on the walls in this hotel was Ah-mazing! It was kind of an antiqued turquoise, but had a gold metallic sheen. Made for the most gorgeous light.

They opted for a "first look". Just a quiet moment between the two of them (and the photographers), to see each other for the first time in their wedding day splendor...
