A few weeks ago Alicia, at Project Alicia, posted that she was co-hosting a cool summer photography link-up series. Each week there is a different picture promt that is summer related, then on friday we link up with our pictures from that week. I failed miserable at participating the firt 2 go-rounds, but I promised myself I would get it together this week. And I did! Sorta.
The theme this week is yellow. Thats it- just Yellow. So I keept my eyes peeled for some gorgeous yellowness to come my way. What I discovered is that my life is fairly void of this sunshiny color. Who knew?!?!? I was lucky enough to stumble on a bit of yellow after walking down to the park with my boys. I arrived with a handful of freshly picked flowers (I use the term "flowers" loosely, as it was only one real flower and several weeds) that were ALL YELLOW! What luck!
uh... except I didnt have my camera... I did, however, have my phone! So here it is... my Yellow entry picture... taken with my phone... of weeds :). But I cherish those weeds, picked by not-so-chubby-anymore hands, given to me with love, from my little boys who are growing just like those yellow weeds.
