Its been over a week since barbeques were one fire, and so were the skies. And in my true slacker fashion- Im just now blogging about it. ;) Big surprise.
Anyway- as many of you did, we had an absolute blast on the 4th. The family came over to our house and we feasted on traditional summer time foods- hamburgers, hot dogs, and salads. Once the food was gone and the sun started to set, the REAL fun began...
There were sparklers for close to an hour. With 3 families buying them, we got a little carried away. "Ummm... Ill take...."

Despite the blogosphere's best intentions, I didnt read a single one of the "how to photograph fireworks" posts that were all over. Which means all my fireworks shots looked something like this-
